Role: HETAS Installer

Salary: £20,000.00 - £32,000.00 per annum

Location: Wadebridge - working throughout Cornwall

Kernow Fires is the main supplier and installer of some of the finest wood burning, multi-fuel and gas appliances. Our teams operate throughout Cornwall and Devon with quality and finish always at the forefront of what we do.

We are offering a unique opportunity for the right person to join our growing stove business. We are looking for a friendly, competent, organised and hardworking person to join our busy team. You will be the installation team leader and as such will ensure that the installations are kept to an excellent standard.
 

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience

A sound knowledge of the wood and/or gas stove and fireplace installation including insulated flue system installation.
A good knowledge of building construction.
HETAS Registered
A working knowledge of fireproof products such as Promat and Refialtec board systems.
Have additional building skills to add to the team.
A positive and flexible attitude to work.
A practical mind, adept at solving problems and planning an installation.
Exceptional attention to detail
Able to lead others and assist with training
Driving License

About you:

Understand a customer’s requirements and aspirations.
Follow instruction but also be able to work under your own initiative.
Work to building regulations and our customers high level of expectation.
As you will be mainly working in customers’ homes you need to be presentable with good customer-facing skills.
Flexible – standard days will be Monday to Friday occasional Saturdays and overtime when required.
