We’ve used a widget so you can easily see the public feedback we get from our customers which is great and very much appreciated!
The Widget only tells half a story though doesn’t it?
For a business that has been going as long as we have, its difficult to just show you the most recent reviews and feel content that you know us. There’s so much more to us than the last few months! Before 2017 (this is when we discovered Facebook reviews and later Google Plus as it was originally) we relied on personal recommendations and received lovely letters and emails from our customers, many of whom have been back to us again and again over the years as they move house and upgrade their properties.
Why include these? We thought including a few would be nice, just so you know we’ve been around a long time, offering excellent service and aftercare and we aren’t going anywhere. We’ll always be here if you need us.
Beyond our latest reviews, we've proudly installed and maintained fires and stoves across Cornwall since the early 2000’s, with hundreds of satisfied customers sharing their experiences.
I would like to add my thanks to both Barney and Dan for an exceptional job. Their workmanship was of the highest standard. They were both very respectful of the property and very conscientious in their manner.
Please pass on my sincere thanks to both for a job well done. I will have no hesitation in recommending Kernow Fires, and Barney and Dan in the future.

Afternoon Bex, if this comes through it's due to your teaching. Emissions from the new burner itself were negligible, window and sliding doors open, the room was clear in 45 minutes. No sign, or smell, of woodsmoke in the room and no leakage from the stack joints, excellent draw. The heat output is outstanding.
Now starting our feedback: for info., being ancient and Yorkshire, our words, such as, excellent, first class, tip top, in today speak, are equivalent to Amaaazing, Fantastic etc.

Dear Simon and All at Kernow Fires
We have been away sailing for the past few weeks (bloody awful weather!) and hence rather late in responding to your note. The fire looks good and while we have not used it often, works well. We now watch the flames rather than the dread TV!

From first visiting the showroom right through to the end everyone we met was helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Staff helped us to select the right fire for our cottage and gave an online quote to check this was within our price range before coming out for a more detailed site survey. The quote included everything that needed to be done and was accurately worked out. The installers worked carefully to keep everything clean and tidy. The fire was installed within the timeframe given and they made sure we knew how to use it before they left. It is everything we hoped for and we thoroughly recommend Kernow Fires.

In the summer of this year I attended your Open Day and was impressed with the Clearview Pioneer fire and it's controllability in the showroom. I informed the sales staff if he could guarantee that if I purchased one mine too would burn 'like that', I was assured it would.
My conclusion to date:- As the weather has been so mild I have only just started using it and can confirm that it burns with precise controllability as stated and that I am impressed with it's heat output and quality of the professional installers and the nice little touches of the 'starter pack' logs, gloves, firelighters etc.
In this day of complaining please accept this letter of appreciation for your good work done.

Just a line to acknowledge your brilliant technicians - Kevin and Dan who installed a Clearview stove for me at my home yesterday
Apart from their technical expertise, they were charming, very friendly and considerate and kept the room clear of debris and dust.
I would, without hesitation grant them 5 stars and a smiley face !!
Look forward now to the autumn and winter when I can use the fire to its fullest potential

The quality of the workmanship was second to none as our job was quite a large undertaking with four fires to be fitted and four chimney-stacks to be lined. From our initial contact with your office it was immediately clear that we were dealing with a professional and caring company. Your quotation was both competitive and compelling. Don, the surveyor who visited us, spent several hours inspecting chimneys, measuring rooms and showing us a selection of fires that he advised would be fit and efficient for purpose. Nothing was too much trouble and indeed Don duly arrived on the first day, along with the fitters and the fires to make sure that all he had promised was to be delivered.
Barney and Dan worked to the highest of standards and were conscientious and considerate at all times of our beautiful home and the need for care and vigilance. There was not a trace of debris or dust left when they had completed the job.
We are very satisfied with the four wood burners you supplied. We have nothing but the highest praise for everyone we were in contact with at Kernow Fires. We cannot praise your firm highly enough and we would not hesitate to give our earnest recommendations to anyone considering purchasing a wood burning stove.
