Kernow Fires About Charnwood

Protecting the environment

Charnwood have a firm focus on protecting the environment and ensuring operations are sustainable and responsible.

They operate a policy of caring for the environment in all aspects of the business; product design, packaging, transporting, disposal of waste products, vehicles and choice of raw materials.  This includes where products are brought from. They and we firmly believe that wood is one of the few renewable fuels. Growing trees for fuel is a viable and sensible option. Using wood means we are preserving our valuable fossil fuel reserves for future generations. From design right through to delivery, Charnwood go above and beyond to ensure that they embrace efficient, environmentally friendly methods and processes that will help protect our planet and its resources.

This is one of the reasons we have championed Charnwood for the last decade and will continue to do so.

An ethical Business

Charnwood are committed to delivering the highest level of service, exceptional quality and outstanding results.

Buy British

To maintain our high standards, Charnwood buy British wherever possible.  Avoiding environmentally unsustainable transport of heavy materials around the world, on the grounds of small savings, when the world’s finest materials are available here in the UK.

The bodies of all Charnwood stoves are British-built, using the best combination of materials for durability and design aesthetics.

"Commitment to our staff is vital as is the commitment to invest in the latest technology to ensure the highest quality." Charnwood Stoves
