Kernow Fires Corona Virus restrictions on business at Kernow Fires, Cornwall

As your local fire installer and fuel provider we appreciate the trust you place in us and the importance of our role during this period.

Both our showrooms are currently closed but we have a small team working from home who are able to answer any questions ref your installation past, present or future. From all the team at Kernow Fires we wish you all the best at this time and urge you to stay home and safe, we look forward to seeing you on the other side.

Due to the upgrade to Pandemic and current lock down situation we have closed boht our showrooms. We were almost ready for this and a small team are working from home to help with any enquiries, please direct all questions to info@kernowfires.co.uk and we will get back to you as swiftly as possible. Any installations currently scheduled will be changed by the customer Service Team. Those with installation dates should already have received an email from us confirming this. The team are currently working their way through the diary to contact each person individually. We will endevour to keep a team available throughout this outbreak to ensure you are kept up to date with any information you require.

Below are some frequently asked questions you may have surrounding our business planning for Coronavirus (COVID-19). If you have a specific query please email the team and we will reply as soon as possible.

I’ve paid a deposit but now you are unable to fit my fire

Your deposit is the cost of the fire. The fire is held in stock by Kernow Fires and belongs to you. When we are able to allow teams to fit again we will prioritise any installations that have had to be delayed.

When can I have my fire installed?

We are currently contacting anyone whose installation is due to take place in the next two weeks and rescheduling for a future date. We are unable to give a date at present as we are following government guidelines. We apologise for being vague however please be assured that we will do all we can to complete the installation in a timely fashion as soon as we are able to operate again. We hope that you understand these measures are for the safety of both our teams and you.

How can I contact you?

We are prepared for homeworking, many of our Customer Service and Senior Team have the capacity to work from home. We ask that all enquiries go through info@kernowfires.co.uk where we will either send you a quick response with the information required or pass on to the person most able to help you. At this time we may be a little slower than normal, but hopefully not too much! We ask that you bear with us as much as possible. We will do out best to respond in a timely fashion.
