Our Norwegian Adventure, June 2011

We have recently returned from a two week trip in Norway visiting the fjord region surrounding Bergen then flying North to the Lofoten islands and finally to Oslo. The scenery was endless as was our visa bill! We stumbled across an old Jotul stove while we were staying in a local fishing hut (Robu) in Lofoten and could not resist firing it up and cooking some freshly caught Cod, which Simon had battled with on a four hour fishing trip, not for the whole four hours!!  

Meanwhile back to the office, the girls are preparing for a visit to the Jotul headquarters in the UK  at Redditch on Monday and Tuesday, they will see all the new models of stoves both from Jotul and Scan and have a tour around their training facility.

Simon is off to Austria next weekend introducing  the Dochety Group to the Lohberger cooker  range after a successful  Home and Hearth show  in Harrogate in June, where we pitched the Lohberger show trailer at the main entrance over the three days.

We are currently finishing our storage unit, Ellie has been working hard to organise racking and panelling as the winter stock of stoves are on their way......
