Work has almost finished on extending our showroom, actually it has not been as disruptive as we thought. Walls have been knocked down, fireplaces built and the lights have just been turned on. David, our resident builder, has done a great job considering he only started in May, so he has had to learn how to deal with us, let alone assemble a new showroom. Simons plan is to create a larger area in which you can browse at your leisure and hopefully gain ideas into planning your home and living area.

Northern Sweden in late March was everything we had expected, blasting ice winds, endless frozen landscape and lipsalve.  We climbed or were rather pushed onto the chair lift, given a blanket and swung into the waiting darkness, the temperature at this stage was around minus 12 and as we were pulled to the top of Arbisco Ice Station the winds whipped up and drove snow into our eyes.

In early March we attended the Eco exhibition in London, the place was buzzing with new ideas, potential grants and new concepts in heat engineering. It is always worthwhile to go to these shows just to see where the market is leading, but sometimes sifting your way through all the brochures and paperwork can be an arduous task. The up to date information we gain allows us to give our clients the best advice with regards to the installation and the running of wood-burning stoves.
